Replay Rooms

Evergreen replay rooms that look and feel like a live event.

Replay Rooms

Replay rooms are the viewing experience for evergreen webinars. They're designed to feel like a live event — no seek bar, simulated chat, timed CTAs, and a "LIVE" indicator.


How It Looks

The replay room has two main areas:

Video Player

  • Full-width video with no visible controls (no seek bar, no download, no playback speed)
  • Autoplay enabled
  • Picture-in-picture disabled

Chat Sidebar

  • Simulated chat messages appear at configured timestamps
  • Messages scroll in as if attendees are typing them live
  • "Live Chat" header with message icon

Timed CTAs (Call-to-Action)

CTAs appear as overlay cards on top of the video at configured times:

  • Show At — Seconds into the video when the CTA appears
  • Hide After — Optional duration before the CTA auto-hides
  • Headline — Bold text (e.g., "Limited Time Offer")
  • Body — Supporting text
  • Button — CTA button with custom text and URL

CTAs can be dismissed by the viewer. Clicks are tracked per CTA per session.

LIVE Indicator

The replay room shows:

  • A LIVE badge in the header
  • A simulated attendee count that gradually increases during playback

This creates urgency and social proof for the viewer.

Engagement Tracking

The replay room tracks viewer behavior:

These events update the registrant's attendance status and trigger follow-up automations.

Evergreen Scheduling

Replays run on a schedule — registrants get assigned a session time:

  • Interval — Every N hours (e.g., every 4 hours)
  • Specific Times — Set specific day/time combos
  • Just-In-Time — "Starting in 15 minutes!" countdown on registration page

On-Demand Replay

Toggle On-Demand Replay in Settings to add a "Watch Now" option. When enabled, registrants can start watching immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled session. Default: OFF.

Managing Replay Content

Recordings

Upload a recording or pull one from Zoom in the Recordings section. Only one recording can be active at a time.

Simulated Chat

Add chat messages with timestamps in the Chat section. Import from CSV or add manually. Messages appear in the chat sidebar at their configured times during playback.

CTAs

Configure timed CTAs in the CTAs section. Set when they appear, what they say, and where the button links.
